Tickets for ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 Available from August 25

Cricket fans worldwide have reason to rejoice as the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) jointly announced that tickets for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 will go on sale starting August 25. This announcement follows the unveiling of an updated match schedule for the highly anticipated cricket extravaganza.

Chris Tetley, ICC’s Head of Events, underlined the significance of fans’ engagement in this grand event. Tetley encouraged fans to register their interest from next week onwards, ensuring they receive prompt updates about ticket availability. Tetley also underscored recent schedule adjustments aimed at enhancing the experience for players and spectators alike.

The ticket registration process commenced on August 15, allowing enthusiasts to sign up and receive comprehensive information and updates related to ticket sales via the official ICC Cricket World Cup website.

Marking its commencement on October 5, this year’s Men’s ICC Cricket World Cup will witness 10 teams vying for the sport’s most coveted title. The inaugural match will feature defending champions England against New Zealand at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium. The tournament’s climax is set for November 19 at the same venue.

The 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup will host a total of 48 matches across 10 different venues situated in 10 Indian cities. Ticket sales will be organized in phases, initiating with tickets for non-India warm-up matches and all non-India event matches available from August 25. Successive stages will offer tickets for India matches in specific cities on designated dates, culminating with Semi Finals and Final tickets becoming available on September 15.

Hemang Amin, CEO of BCCI, expressed enthusiasm for the forthcoming ticket sales, highlighting the finalization of the schedule after necessary modifications.
